Kieran McArdle won his points section and took third in his second points section. Although both sections were run close to each other his fittness and talent shone through.
Philip Corway took third place in his points section. His semi final went to extra time and he narrowly missed the spot in his final by one point. He showed an excellent exhibition of his talent.
Dara Lawless had a few tough opponents and he overcame them to take a well earned third place in fantastic style.
Kevin Stewart took his second place just being pipped at the post in his final. They both made it an exciting final with the lead changing the whole way through.
Conal Cooney took third place in the light contact section. He competed really well as the german talent was very high. He narrowly missed out on a place in his final.
Daniel Begley took third in his points section. He fought his way through to the semi finals where he was just pipped at the end but put on an impressive performance.
Amy Lally took first place in her points section in which she took control from the start in great style.
All in all cobra-kans trip to Germany was a worth while experience as some of the students are preparing to compete in the wka world championships in Florida later this year.
Patricia McQuillan, coach and founder of cobra-kan, was exceptionally proud of her students who done themselves and their club proud. She has no hesitation to getting her students back into hard training for the world championships in Florida in November.
